What is ECU Remapping?

A remap is where the vehicle’s settings are changed based on the requirements of the owner. ECU tuning (as it’s also known) improves the cars performance.

By overwriting the original factory settings a remap can be used to manage fuel, airflow, sensors and more within legal limitations.

What does a remap do?

ECU tuning normally takes between 30 minutes to 1 hour and has an immediate effect on both power and torque, often making the car more responsive, for example it may accelerate quicker.

Should I remap my car?
